ThomasNet provides manufacturers with the tools needed to expand their market reach and influence design and sourcing professionals with high quality, digitized product information.
I was tasked with streamlining and simplifying a set of notoriously difficult to use tools that were vital to function of the Navigator solutions set, which was responsible for building and managing online catalogs.
I had to study the functions and abilities of the tools, and was responsible for the complete redesign and layout of all aspects of the front end of the tools, including the tool-tips and interfaces used by the engineers.
The challenge was to deliver a large number of wire-frames and mock ups in a timely manner to present my ideas on the best approach to the team of engineers and project managers in order for us to make a decision together and keep the project going forward according to schedule.
My efforts were critical in the design and construction of a fully functional and successfully tested new model prototype.
